Product Description THE AMERICAN PREMIERE OF THE INFAMOUS 'LOST' DARIO ARGENTO FILM PREMIERES ON 4K ULTRA HD AND INCLUDES SOUNDTRACK CD! After FOUR FLIES ON GREY VELVET, Dario Argento stepped away from giallo to create what remains the only non-horror/thriller - and least-seen film - of his career: Set during 1848's five-day siege of Milan by the Austrian army, a cynical thief (pop star Adriano Celentano) teams with a naïve young baker (Enzo Terascio of THE DEAD ARE ALIVE!) to survive the brutality and absurdity of the Italian Revolution. Marilù Tolo (THE SCORPION WITH TWO TALES), Glauco Onorato (BLACK SABBATH) and Salvatore Baccaro (aka 'Sal Boris' of THE BEAST IN HEAT) co-star in this dark action-comedy that reflected turbulent '70s Italy and Argento's own politics, from a story co-written by Enzo Ungari (THE LAST EMPEROR) and Luigi Cozzi (PAGANINI HORROR) with a rousing score by Giorgio Gaslini (DEEP RED), now scanned in 4K from the original negative with over 4½ hours of all-new Special Features. SPECIAL FEATURES: Main feature presented in 4K HD (2160p) disc + Blu-ray (1080p) disc Audio Commentary With Troy Howarth, Author Of Murder By Design: The Unsane Cinema Of Dario Argento, and Mondo Digital's Nathaniel Thompson Talkin' 'Bout A Revolution - Interview With Director Dario Argento The Battle For Freedom - Interview With Screenwriter Luigi Cozzi For The First Time - Interview With Executive Producer Claudio Argento An Italian Story - Interview With Actress Carla Tatò Home Delivery - Interview With Actress Luisa De Santis 174 Years Ago - Interview With Production Manager Angelo Iacono Dario Argento: The Man, The Myths & The Magic Author Alan Jones on THE FIVE DAYS Trailer TV Spots Soundtrack CD Review Excessive in virtually every sense... Its exuberant visual style paves the way for the insane sensory experience which would emerge from DEEP RED. --Art of Darkness: The Cinema of Dario Argento A fascinating and often impressive film... Never released on American DVD, the film looks wonderful on the Severin edition. --Mondo Digital A real departure for the horror maestro... Argento feared that the giallo genre was finished following his Three Animals Trilogy, leading to this brave feature. --Taste of Cinema Top Similar From the Brand Reviews Dario Argento's The Five Days 4K Ultra HD

Description
In THE DARJEELING LIMITED, from director Wes Anderson (Rushmore, Fantastic Mr. Fox), three estranged American brothers reunite for a meticulously planned, soul-searching train voyage across India, one year after the death of their father. For reasons involving over-the-counter painkillers, Indian cough syrup, and pepper spray, the brothers eventually find themselves stranded alone in the middle of the desert—where a new, unplanned chapter of their journey begins. Featuring a sensational cast, including Owen Wilson (Armageddon, Wedding Crashers), Adrien Brody (The Thin Red Line, The Pianist), Jason Schwartzman (Rushmore, HBO’s Bored to Death), and Anjelica Huston (Prizzi’s Honor, The Grifters), THE DARJEELING LIMITED is a visually dazzling and hilarious film that takes Anderson’s work to richer, deeper places than ever before.

Following on from the enormous success of his breakthrough film Django, Franco Nero returned to the Wild West (Almería, Spain) to star in the same year s Texas Adios, which was released as Django 2 in some countries. Here he plays tough gunslinger Burt Sullivan, a sheriff who, along with his younger brother (Alberto Dell'Acqua, Endgame), journeys to Mexico to hunt down the sadistic bandit Cisco Delgado and avenge his father s murder. When Burt and his brother fall in with a group of Mexican revolutionaries, the stage is set for a violent climatic confrontation... Directed by veteran helmsman Ferdinado Baldi, best known for the cult Western Blindman (starring Beatles tub-thumper Ringo Starr) and the 3D extravaganza Comin' at Ya!, Texas Adios is a lesser-known Spaghetti Western gem, which boasts rapid-fire action scenes, stunning locations and stylish cinematography courtesy of Enzo Barboni (Django, Nightmare Castle). The film is presented here in an exclusive new restoration, with a wealth of extras which allow this film to be enjoyed as never before. Description
*This listing is for the standard edition version and does NOT come with a limited edition slipcase!* Vinegar Syndrome specializes in the masterful restoration and distribution of cult, horror, and erotic films from the 1960s-90s. Thad Beaumont is tired of writing trashy pulp novels under the pseudonym “George Stark” in order to make a living. Yearning to focus solely on scribing the intellectually stimulating literature he enjoys, Thad decides to - literally - bury his alter ego in a figurative attempt to finally break free of lucrative lowbrow temptations. However, George isn’t prepared to be laid to rest and miraculously resurrects himself out of Thad’s subconscious, fully transforming into a flesh-and-blood double and going on a grisly murder spree straight out of one of his own novels. With the police convinced that Thad is behind the series of bizarre killings, he is forced to confront his inner demons and determine where the real Thad ends and the “real” George begins in an attempt to put an end to George Stark’s rampage. Based on the thrilling novel by Stephen King (Carrie, The Shining) and directed by horror legend George A. Romero (Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead), THE DARK HALF is a tense examination of the violent and destructive nature of the creative process. Starring Academy Award® winner Timothy Hutton (Ordinary People), Academy Award® nominee Amy Madigan (Twice in a Lifetime, Field of Dreams), and Academy Award© nominee Julie Harris (The Member of the Wedding, The Haunting), Vinegar Syndrome is proud to bring THE DARK HALF to 4K UHD, in a brand new cinematographer-approved restoration of its 35mm camera negative and featuring a comprehensive selection of new and archival extras, including never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage and interviews. Bonus Features: 1. 2-disc Set: 4K Ultra HD (High Bitrate UHD100) / Region A Blu-ray 2. 4K UHD presented in Dolby Vision High-Dynamic-Range 3. Product Description It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act. But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane. Review Christopher Nolan's dramatically and emotionally satisfying wrap-up to the Dark Knight trilogy adroitly avoids clichés and gleefully subverts your expectations at every turn. --New York Post, Lou Lumenick The miracle of Nolan's Batman trilogy is the way it imprints those myths with the dread-soaked tenor of the times. --The A.V. Description
Take elite commandos, send them on a do-or-die assignment – and sit back and watch the action explode. The men-on-a-mission formula that worked in 1967’s The Dirty Dozen and in Where Eagles Dare (released in the U.S. in 1969) provides another salvo of volatile screen adventure with this strike force saga released in 1968. Rod Taylor and Jim Brown are among a mercenary unit rolling on a steam train across the Congo, headed for the dual tasks of rescuing civilians imperiled by rebels and recovering a cache of diamonds. The film’s violence is fierce, unforgiving, ahead of its time. Quentin Tarantino would offer a tribute of sorts to this red-blooded wallop of a cult fave by using part of its compelling score in Inglourious Basterds (2009).

Bogie's on the lam and Bacall's at his side in Delmer Daves' stylish film-noir thriller that's the third of four films Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall made together. Bogart is Vincent Parry, a prison escapee framed for murder who emerges from plastic surgery with a new face. Bacall is Irene Jansen, his lone ally. In sharp support, Agnes Moorehead plays a venomous harpy finding pleasure in the unhappiness of others. The leads' chemistry is undeniable, augmented here with exceptional tenderness. Exceptional too are San Francisco locations and creative camerawork that shows Vincent's point of view -- but not his face -- until bandages are removed. Lest Irene get ideas, post-surgery Vincent tells her: "Don't change yours. I like it just as it is." So do we.

Inspired by the Dan Curtis TV series, this movie stars Johnny Depp-(who also produced the film)-as Barnabas Collins. Michelle Pfeiffer and Helen Bonham Carter add their talents to the film which mixes humor and some graphically violent scenes. Barnabas was buried in the 1700's. Being a vampire, he waited patiently until being unearthed and that is when the "fun" begins. Watch for a cameo of Jonathan Frid, the original Barnabas, as a guest at the dinner party.

Description
Product Description From the producer of Paranormal Activity, Insidious, and Sinister comes Dark Skies: a supernatural thriller that follows a young family living in the suburbs. As husband and wife Daniel and Lacey Barret witness an escalating series of disturbing events involving their family, their safe and peaceful home quickly unravels. When it becomes clear that the Barret family is being targeted by an unimaginably terrifying and deadly force, Daniel and Lacey take matters in their own hands to solve the mystery of what is after their family. Amazon.com Producer Jason Blum, who scored major successes with micro-budget horror hits Paranormal Activity and Sinister, applies the same high-voltage approach to this well-crafted thriller about a suburban family under assault from malevolent forces. Writer-director Scott Stewart (Legion, Priest) adds an interesting element of zeitgeist to the proceedings by translating the family's financial instability--Dad (Josh Hamilton) searches in vain for work while Mom (Keri Russell) struggles to keep the family afloat with the meager returns from her real estate job--into a harbinger of unexplainable incidents, including doors and windows mysteriously unlocked and birds crashing into the house. As the phenomena increase in frequency and intensity, it becomes evident that the family has been targeted by a presence with apparent designs on the youngest son (Kadan Rockett), who already maintains a relationship with an unseen "friend." It all unfolds under an umbrella of slow-building dread, but by the time Dark Skies reaches its conclusion, Stewart provides little beyond a barrage of visual and sonic shock moments, which plays havoc on viewers' nerves but fails to deliver a genuinely frightening experience. He does have solid support from the perennially unsung Russell and Hamilton, as well as character actor J.K. Simmons, who lends a lot of credence to the picture as a paranormal abduction expert, but ultimately, Dark Skies will be most appreciated by fans of Blum's particular approach to otherworldly suspense. The Blu-ray includes commentary by Stewart, Blum, executive producer Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, and editor Peter Gvozdas, who largely focuses on how the film's many technical aspects were achieved on a modest budget, while a 14-minute collection of deleted scenes offers noisier but mostly inconsequential moments, including an underfed alternate ending. Trailers for other Starz/Anchor Bay genre releases round out the two-disc Blu-ray/DVD/Ultraviolet set. --Paul Gaita
