Years in the making! the highly-anticipated restoration of the underground film classic thundercrack! Will finally be unleashed to the public! witness if you dare... Thundercrack!... The world's only underground kinky art adult horror film, complete with four men, three women and rampaging circus animals. With the initial setup of an atmospheric gothic tale - a dark and stormy night breakdown featuring a creepy old house on the hill - it quickly turns into an eerie orgy of graphic humor, horror and sex. A tour de force of underground filmmaking with a plot beyond description, this film fully exposes itself with amazing dialogue and trash-noir lighting through which to peer at the pickles, the puke and the polymorphs. In 1975, Curt McDowell and writer/actor George Kuchar created the exceptionally perverse and utterly brilliant THUNDERCRACK!, a film not recommended for those with tender sensibilities. A true cult classic that has shocked, excited and amazed audiences worldwide for 40 years, this presentation is the first ever official North American video release!

No screen team was more triumphant in the Golden Age of kung fu cinema than the iron triangle of director Chang Cheh and his protégés David Chiang and Ti Lung. This box set comprises 12 classic martial arts films from the famous Shaw Brothers' library. Many of these films are debuting for the first time on Blu-ray. Get ready for some exciting thrills and chills as our iconic heroes square off against abominable villains in a duel to the death! Have Sword, Will Travel: Internationally acclaimed director Chang Cheh teams David Chiang and Ti Lung for the second time in the classic heroic bloodshed epic Have Sword, Will Travel, its title inspired by the lone gunman Hollywood hit TV show Have Gun—Will Travel. Ti Lung is the armor of an "armored van" taking silver to the capital. Along the way, a mysterious knight (David Chiang) stalks him. Although he appears to be the robber, his intentions prove to be far more mysterious. The Heroic Ones: No screen team was more triumphant in the Golden Age of kung fu cinema than the iron triangle of director Chang Cheh and his protégés David Chiang and Ti Lung. This is their quintessential historical epic, set during the waning years of the Tang Dynasty. It's literally brother against brother as David Chiang and Ti Lung display their remarkable martial arts prowess—battling insiders and outsiders in a duel to the death for the fate of China. Vengeance!: David Chiang plays a psychotic man out to avenge the death of his older brother (Ti Lung) in this tale of retribution and paying the ultimate price. The action by acclaimed choreographers Tang Chia and Yuen Cheung-yan (The Grandmaster, The Matrix Reloaded) is just as psychotic. Chang Cheh won Best Director and David Chiang's haunting performance earned him the Best Actor Award at the 1970 Asian Film Festival. The Anonymous Heroes: Director Chang Cheh and his stars Ti Lung and David Chiang were known as the iron triangle for their many successful films together. But perhaps they should have been known as the iron rectangle because of the invaluable contributions of action choreographer Lau Kar-leung. This post-Chinese Revolution adventure of rebels battling warlords is a prime example of the quartet's remarkable skills behind and in front of the camera. Their teamwork made this a 1971 top-ten hit. The Deadly Duo: It's the Sung Dynasty versus the Chin invaders as the iron triangle truly hit their stride with this crowd-pleasing kung fu epic. When a handsome prince is taken captive and guarded by a martial arts master, it's up to two powerful patriots to fight overwhelming odds. From the first fascinating minute to the final desperate battle—culminating in an unforgettably evocative conclusion—this duo is dynamic as well as deadly. Duel of Fists: Another triumph for the iron triangle, not to mention for action choreographer Liu Chia-liang as well. David Chiang is a Chinese boxer who travels to Bangkok in search of his lost brother, who may or may not be the Thai boxer played by Ti Lung. This kung fu/Thai boxing combo was one of the megahits of 1971, second only to Bruce Lee's The Big Boss. The Duel: In the days before Bruce Lee became a superstar, the greatest heroes in Hong Kong cinema were the majestic Ti Lung and the charismatic David Chiang. The year after they exploded into superstardom in Chang Cheh's landmark teen rebellion action film, Vengeance!, they returned in this mano-a-mano classic as an adopted son struggling with familial fears and a streetwise knight-errant named "Rambler." The two distrust each other until they survive a trial by fire…and fists. The Angry Guest: When a vengeful Japanese gangster has our heroes' mother murdered and one of their girlfriends kidnapped, it's terror in Tokyo and horror in Hong Kong in this renowned sequel to Duel of Fists (featuring director Chang Cheh himself in a rare on-screen appearance as a triad boss!). The esteemed Yasuaki Kurata, the future co-star of Jet Li's Fist of Legend, adds to the fight-filled fun in a film filled with international favorites. All Men Are Brothers: This is the long-awaited sequel to the martial arts blockbuster The Water Margin. Finally, its many international fans can see this action-packed follow-up, based on one of China's most enduring 14th-century novels. Also known as Seven Soldiers of Kung Fu and 108 Heroes, it is truly an epic by any name, featuring a cast of perennial kung fu favorites, and no less than four action choreographers. The Blood Brothers: Set in the waning years of the Ching Dynasty, this dramatic, tragic, romantic, and blood-soaked martial arts tale of betrayal and revenge explores one of the most sensational scandals in Chinese history…and marked the true ascension of its director and actors to superstar status. In fact, Ti Lung won Golden Horse Awards of Outstanding Performance for his challenging role of a jealous provincial governor who kills his friend in order to steal the man's wife. The Savage 5: The heroes are savage because the villains are brutal, cruel, and vicious. At first, a gang just wants the village locksmith to open a stolen safe, but it soon escalates into torment. Though reminiscent of The Seven Samurai, The Savage 5 distinguishes itself well as the director and his revered action choreographers, Liu Chia-liang and Tang Chia, design each of its many struggles with gritty depravity and desperate power. The result is an especially realistic, even grueling, exercise in white-knuckle suspense. 7 Man Army: In 1933, 20,000 Japanese soldiers and 50 tanks invaded the Pa Tou Lou Tzu, a strategic key point of the Great Wall. With only seven men stationed in defense, these heroes took on the entire army for five days before succumbing. Director Chang Cheh recreated this epic battle with a stellar cast, including Ti Lung, David Chiang, Alexander Fu Sheng, and Chen Kuan-tai, as a celluloid tribute to these nameless souls. Bonus Content: Disc 1 - Have Sword, Will Travel: Audio Commentary with David West, Critic and Author of Chasing Dragons: An Introduction to the Martial Arts Film Original Theatrical Trailer Celestial Trailer Disc 2 - The Heroic Ones: Sanguine and Guile—Filmmaker and Academic Gilbert Po Offers An On-Camera Discussion of The Bloody Brilliance of Director Chang Cheh Celestial Trailer Disc 3 - Vengeance!: Audio Commentary by David West, Critic and Author of Chasing Dragons: An Introduction To The Martial Arts Film Retribution Shaw-Style—Luke White, Author of Legacies of The Drunken Master: Politics of the Body In Hong Kong Kung Fu Comedy Films Provides An Insightful Look at The Politics And Plasma-Spillage of Vengeance Original Theatrical Trailer Disc 4 - The Anonymous Heroes: Audio Commentary with James Mudge, Veteran Hong Kong Film Critic at easternKicks Original Theatrical Trailer Celestial Trailer Disc 5 - The Deadly Duo: Audio Commentary with James Mudge, Veteran Hong Kong Film Critic at easternKicks Original Theatrical Trailer German Theatrical Trailer Celestial Trailer Disc 6 - Duel of Fists: Audio Commentary with Veteran Film Critic Ian Jane of Rock! Like an amphibian Laurel & Hardy, TIJUANA TOADS revives the thin guy/fat guy formula for comedy, and endows it with a distinctive south-of-the-border flavor. Toads "Pancho" and "El Toro" engage in madcap mischief (and even a bit of romance) while seeking to advance themselves within the biological food chain: giving chase to grasshoppers, Japanese beetles, and flies, while evading comic predators like snakes, cats, dogs, and a particularly dopey crane. This edition includes all seventeen laugh-filled episodes, rendered in the distinctive DePatie-Freleng style of the late '60s/early '70s, newly remastered in high definition.

An unclassifiable animated odyssey from the director of Heavy Metal. A group of monkeys, including a director loosely inspired by Dennis Hopper’s Easy Rider persona, struggle through various trials and tribulations while making an epic adventure film in this psychedelic and satirical look at the Hollywood counterculture of the early ’70s. Directed by celebrated animator Gerald Potterton – who earned multiple Oscar nominations for his work at the National Film Board of Canada, contributed to Yellow Submarine, and later directed Heavy Metal – this is an outrageous and inspired feat of cinematic imagination. An unlikely hybrid of analogue animation and live action Soviet fantasy film, TIKI TIKI repurposes extended passages from Rolan Bykov’s eye-popping 1967 phantasmagoria Aybolit-66 as the film within the film, employing irreverent comic dubbing and cutting to subvert the original intent. The result puzzled and thrilled ’70s audiences in equal measure and turned heads by winning Mosfilm art director Aleksandr Kuznetsov a Canadian Film Award. An unapologetically eccentric experience that has earned comparisons to H.C. Potter’s Hellzapoppin', TIKI TIKI remains one of the most sought-after animated enigmas of its era. Bonus Features: 1. Newly scanned and restored in 4K from the original 35mm A/B negatives by Canadian International Pictures with sound transferred from the three-track master mix 2. New audio commentary featuring Paul Corupe of Canuxploitation.com and film historian Jason Pichonsky 3. New interview with producer Murray Shostak 4. New interview with animator Paul Driessen 6. Fantasia Q&A (2024, 15 min.) – Shostak and film historian Chris Seguin at the Fantasia International Film Festival 7. Potterton Productions demo reel (1972, 23 min.) 8. Making Movie History: Gerald Potterton (2014, 5 min.) – The filmmaker reflects on his early years at the National Film Board of Canada 10. Three NFB short films with animation by Potterton: Huff and Puff (1955, 7 min.), Fish Spoilage Control (1956, 9 min.), and It’s a Crime (1957, 13 min.) 11. Original theatrical trailer 12. The classic science fiction novel by H.G. Wells becomes this big-budget adventure directed by the author's great-grandson Simon Wells. Guy Pearce stars as Alexander Hartdegen, a scientist, professor, and inventor in 1895 New York City who believes that time travel is possible. The sudden and unexpected death of his fiancée spurs Alexander to build a time machine, which he hopes to use in an effort to change the past. When he is unable to change the past, Alexander hurls himself more than 800,000 years into the future, seeking answers about the nature of time, but instead encountering a dystopian world where humanity has divided up into two races, the peaceful Eloi and the subterranean Morlocks. Befriending the beautiful Eloi woman Mara (pop singer Samantha Mumba), Alexander must set out to save her from the underground world of the Morlocks when she is captured by them. Along the way, he is aided by Vox (Orlando Jones), a bio-mechanical being from the 21st century. Ultimately, Alexander makes a shocking discovery about the true nature of the Eloi and Morlocks and decides that the only way to change the future is to alter the present. Due to exhaustion, director Wells was briefly replaced during the last few weeks of production by Gore Verbinski, director of The Mexican (2001). The Time Machine co-stars Jeremy Irons and Mark Addy.

*This listing is for the standard edition version and does NOT come with a limited edition slipcase!* Vinegar Syndrome specializes in the masterful restoration and distribution of cult, horror, and erotic films from the 1960s-90s. Héctor (Karra Elejalde) lives with his wife Clara (Candela Fernández) in the peaceful Spanish countryside. One day, while relaxing in their backyard, Héctor spies a woman removing her clothes in a nearby forest via his binoculars. Once alone, he travels to her location to find the woman naked and presumably dead. He is attacked by an unknown, bandaged man, causing him to run further into the forest, where he stumbles upon a top-secret research facility, which happens to be home to a time machine. Upon meeting El Joven (played by director Nacho Vigalondo), a scientist in control of the facility and its machine, Héctor travels back in time one hour. Operating against El Joven’s wishes, Héctor leaves the facility, setting off a series of events with increasingly dark consequences. The feature film debut of writer/director Nacho Vigalondo (Colossal, Open Windows), TIMECRIMES is an audacious mash-up of science fiction, horror, and murder mystery. Shot entirely on Super 16mm film by Spanish cinematographer Flavio Martínez Labiano (The Day of the Beast), a frequent collaborator of Álex de la Iglesia, and featuring almost entirely analog effects, TIMECRIMES is a lovingly old-fashioned throwback to the sci-fi films of the 60s and 70s while retaining much of the expected excesses of the genre films of the 2000s. Vinegar Syndrome is proud to present Nacho Vigalondo’s impeccably crafted, often very nasty, journey through time in a brand new 4K restoration of its 35mm DI negative for its world UHD premiere. Bonus Features: 1. 2-disc Set: 4K Ultra HD / Region A Blu-ray 2. 4K UHD presented in Dolby Vision High-Dynamic-Range 3. Newly scanned & restored in 4K from its 35mm original camera negative 4. Vinegar Syndrome specializes in the masterful restoration and distribution of cult, horror, and erotic films from the 1960s-90s.
