Product Description Marlon Wayans and Cedric the Entertainer star in this outrageously funny supernatural scary movie. When young couple Malcolm (Wayans) and Kisha (Essence Atkins) move in to their dream place, they soon discover they're not alone. But it's not the home that's possessed, it's Kisha. Now, Malcolm will go to hilarious extremes - including hiring a priest, a psychic, and a team of modern-day ghostbusters to get his place and his sex life back to normal. Co-starring Nick Swardson and David Koechner, it's the no-holds-barred, raunchy comedy that will have you laughing from start to finish. Bonus Content: Includes a digital copy of A Haunted House (Subject to expiration. Go to NBCUCodes.com for details.) How to Survive a Paranormal Presence My Scenes BD-Live pocket BLU App Amazon.com The "found footage" subgenre of horror films, as exemplified by Paranormal Activity, The Devil Inside, and countless others, receives a raunchy, raucous spoof by Marlon Wayans and a capable cast in the very broad comedy A Haunted House. Wayans, who also cowrote and coproduced the film, is top-billed as a young homeowner documenting every aspect of his new domestic situation with girlfriend Kisha (Essence Atkins) via digital camera. To his dismay, Wayans discovers that the camera footage reveals the presence of a supernatural entity from Kisha's past with designs on disrupting their lives (especially in the bedroom), which prompts the enlistment of various eccentric outsiders, including an ex-con priest (Cedric the Entertainer), to combat the otherworldly intruder. Wayans, director Michael Tiddes, and cowriter/coproducer Rick Alvarez arm themselves with two potentially fruitful comic scenarios--the inherent absurdity of the found footage subgenre and the tensions that arise between newly moved-in couples--but bury any chance for real humor under a barrage of easy-target gags involving bodily functions, racial stereotypes, and uneasy gay panic riffs involving a predatory psychic played by Nick Swardson. Granted, this is the formula with which Wayans has reaped major box-office returns with the Scary Movie franchise, White Chicks, Dance Flick, and other low-brow comedies, so fans of those pictures will most likely find his shenanigans here hilarious. He's also abetted by a very game group of supporting players, including David Koechner, J.B. Smoove, Alanna Ubach, and Andrew Daly, who do their best to enliven the material. The Blu-ray/DVD includes a digital copy and UltraViolet content, but supplemental features are limited to a very brief, electronic press kit-styled interview roundup. --Paul Gaita

Grave robbing, torture, possessed nuns, and a satanic Sabbath: Benjamin Christensen’s legendary silent film uses a series of dramatic vignettes to explore the scientific hypothesis that the witches of the Middle Ages suffered the same hysteria as turn of the century psychiatric patients. Far from a dry dissertation on the topic, the film itself is a witches’ brew of the scary, the gross, and the darkly humorous. Christensen’s mix and match approach to genre anticipates gothic horror, documentary re creation, and the essay film, making for an experience unlike anything else in the history of cinema. BLU RAY SPECIAL EDITION FEATURES • New 2K digital restoration • Music from the original Danish premiere, arranged by film music specialist Gillian Anderson and performed by the Czech Film Orchestra in 2001, presented in 5.0 surround DTS HD Master Audio • Audio commentary from 2001 featuring film scholar Casper Tybjerg • Witchcraft Through the Ages (1968), the seventy six minute version of Häxan, narrated by author William S. Now you see him. Now you don't. The face of a killer appears out of the darkness and just as quickly disappears. A young woman has an eerie feeling someone is stalking her. Another beauty steps into a shower…and a bathroom door handle slowly turns. We're in slasher-flick territory—and also in a rare realm of film history, because screen icon Tom Hanks makes his movie debut in this shocker. The up-and-coming legend plays the brief supporting role of Elliot, a psych major whose musings about the nature of fear reinforce the tone of this twisted tale about a sicko who targets brides-to-be…and a detective who scrambles to stop the carnage. Wedded bliss can be very short-lived when He Knows You're Alone. Teenage kicks take a decidedly dark turn in director Douglas Grossman’s Hell High – a twisted tale of delinquency pushed to its horrifying extreme, where Class of 1984 meets I Spit on Your Grave! When high school football hero Jon-Jon (Breaking Bad’s Christopher Cousins) quits the team, he winds up falling in with a group of outcasts led by the sadistic Dickens (played to unhinged perfection by the late Christopher Stryker). With a willing new recruit in tow, the gang’s youthful hijinks soon spiral into a night of abject horror when they decide to play a cruel prank on the home of their teacher Miss Storm – who, unbeknownst to the youngsters, harbors a dark and tormented past. Hell High – which was released in some international territories as Raging Fury – is a singular entry in the late ’80s horror canon, melding elements of the revenge movie with the trappings of the slasher genre to delirious effect. WE HAVE SUCH SIGHTS TO SHOW YOU… In the 1980s, Clive Barker changed the face of horror fiction, throwing out the rules to expose new vistas of terror and beauty, expanding the horizons for every genre writer who followed him. With Hellraiser, his first feature film, he did the same for cinema. Hedonist Frank Cotton (Sean Chapman) thinks he has reached the limits of earthly pleasure. But a mysterious puzzle box will take him further than he can possibly imagine, opening the doors to a dominion where pain and pleasure are indivisible and summoning the Cenobites, whose experiments in the higher reaches of experience will tear his soul apart. When he manages to escape, Frank returns to the world skinless and in need of help. Now his former lover Julia (Clare Higgins) must kill to make him whole again. But the Cenobites want Frank back, and there’ll be hell to pay when they find him. Hellbound: Hellraiser II expands on Barker’s original vision as screenwriter Peter Atkins takes Julia Cotton, her step daughter Kirsty (Ashley Laurence) and the sinister Dr. Channard (Kenneth Cranham) into the dominion of the Cenobites themselves. Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth sees Pinhead set loose on the sinful streets of New York City to create chaos with a fresh cadre of Cenobitic kin. Then, Hellraiser: Bloodline sinks its hooks into past, present and future with the story of Phillip LeMarchand, the 18th-century toymaker who made the lament configuration puzzle box, his descendent John Merchant – a 20th-century architect whose most recent building bears a striking resemblance to the lament configuration – and Dr. Paul Merchant, a 22nd-century engineer and designer of The Minos, a space station which is a great deal more than it seems. Vinegar Syndrome specializes in the restoration and distribution of cult, horror and erotic films from the 1960s-90s. Decades ago, deranged Professor Jones (John Saxon) concocted a diabolical drug at a rural college called 'The Nietzsche Experiment,' designed to give its users telepathic abilities, but instead turned anyone who took it into violent lunatics. Now, 20 years later, Jones has returned to resume his experiments and avenge himself against those he feels wronged him and his work. Armed with a group of hideously deformed mutant slaves, it's not long before the tranquil college becomes host to vicious violence and carnage. A Detroit shot regional horror movie made at the decline of the direct-to-video era, HELLMASTER was the first feature from cult filmmaker Douglas Schulze (Dark Fields) and co-stars David Emge (Dawn of the Dead). Combining gothic horror and creature-filled narrative trappings with intensely colorful and Argento inspired visuals, courtesy of acclaimed cinematographer Michael Goi (American Horror Story), HELLMASTER was originally titled THEM, but was subsequently re-edited with new footage also added and released straight to video and cable several years after its initial completion. Vinegar Syndrome presents this fascinating slice of creature horror in its original theatrical THEM version for the first time on home video, along with its more commonly seen HELLMASTER recut, newly restored in 4k from its 35mm original negative under supervision from cinematographer Michael Goi. Bonus Features: 1. Region Free Blu-ray/DVD combo 2. Newly scanned & restored in 4k from its 35mm original negative 3. Original Theatrical Version (as "THEM") 4. Director's recut version (as "HELLMASTER") (SD) 5. Director commentary for both versions 6. "Creating Reality" - an interview with cinematographer Michael Goi 7. Conceptual artwork gallery 8. Behind-the-scenes stills gallery 9. Archival locations featurette 10. Reversible cover artwork 11. English SDH subtitles

Stephen King was once famously quoted as saying, “I have seen the future of horror... his name is Clive Barker.” That future was realized in 1987 with the release of Barker’s directorial debut Hellraiser. Based on his own novella The Hellbound Heart, Barker’s Hellraiser sees Larry (Andrew Robinson) and his wife Julia (Clare Higgins) move into their new home, unaware that something evil lurks beneath the floorboards of the dilapidated house – something that wants human blood… Introducing the world to the iconic Pinhead and his sadistic band of Cenobites, Hellraiser became an instant genre classic upon release and remains one of the most frighteningly original visions in horror.
