Description

Concert violinist Holger Brandt (Leslie Howard) was immediately taken by the skill-and the beauty-of Anita Hoffman (Ingrid Bergman), his daughter's piano teacher. The invitation to join his next tour leads to a passionate affair... and, possibly, the destruction of the virtuoso's happy home. Producer David O. Selznick procured the remake rights on Bergman's same-named 1936 Swedish vehicle for a splashy introduction to American audiences; Edna Best, Ann Todd, John Halliday, Cecil Kellaway also star. 70 min. Standard; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital mono; Subtitles: English; audio commentary; theatrical trailer.
