Didn't rent this one, but I own it. Been thinking about it a lot lately. Tupac's performance is chilling, he was an incredible actor. The movie gripped me from the beginning. The group of boys is easy to connect with and to see the downfall of the group was like losing your own friends. This movie almost veers into psychological horror sometimes. Please give it a watch if you haven't.

Funny that you brought this one up. Read the headline that they finally have a verdict for Tupac's killer.
I agree with you completely. Loved Tupac's music and surprisingly his acting. Enjoyed Poetic Justice too with Janet Jackson and Tupac. The last rapper movie I saw that I really liked was the ATL with T.I. Hope they make more like these...Straight out of Compton was insanely awesome!
