A solid movie based on a true story. Enjoyed the acting and the premise, a more cozy family drama than the heisty-action caper I was expecting, but not in a bad way, just subverted my expectations a bit.
4K version solid, but not a great showcase. Mostly dialogue and colors not intended to be dazzling so gets the job done but not gonna blow you away. Standard Bluray probably about the same.
Roofman is a good movie built around a fascinating true story, and Channing Tatum is easily the best part of it. He brings a surprising amount of charm and vulnerability to Jeffrey Manchester, while Kirsten Dunst gives the movie some much-needed emotional weight. Their chemistry works well and makes the more personal side of the story surprisingly engaging.
