In terms of the humor, this has the same vibe as another horror-comedy, Ready Or Not. Semi-villainous rich family tries to take advantage of a dead unicorn, while the virtuous outsiders try to do the right thing. But then it becomes a monster movie as unstoppable monsters come in on a very gruesome rampage. Lots of graphic killings here mixed in with pretty good humor.
