Sam Raimi's attempt at imitating the Coen Brothers' films like Fargo and Blood Simple where 'normal people try crime' is predictable, lazy and lacking. Characters with no arcs, scenery with no life, and a well-acted but poorly-written "dimwit" character whose disability comes and goes as the plot requires will distract on a rainy afternoon and little more.

AI is coming for your life unless you can prove your innocence in one hour! Chris Pratt, up to his usual goof of making terrible movies, has to convince an "AI" (that only behaves like a machine when moves the plot along) attempts to argue his innocence after his wife has been murdered because he was seen arguing with her on a Flock camera. Somewhere in this muddled mess of an action movie—where...

This movie is a wild ride, and is truly one of the defining films of this decade. The casting is crazy, the story is almost epic, and the underlying themes about people, their motivations, and the sobering celebration of the mundane under all of the ado is cliché, in a sense, but very well presented. I couldn't stop thinking about this movie for weeks after watching it.

A wild movie about Hollywood elites who throw wild, cult-like sex parties. Not really a creepy movie until you realize it's probably all based on reality. It's Kubrick, so it's a brilliantly made movie, and he died shortly after he shot it. Worth a watch just to read about the odd theories about it online after.

Existentialism meets mysticism. Waking Life is a disjointed collection of interviews tied loosely together by a strange fantasy narrative about the interviewer learning to lucid dream. It's got Alex Jones in it. Back when it came out, it was a neat use of animation for heady college kid consumption, but it was difficult to watch in 2026 with the drastic movement. YouTube has taken over the space t...

A man stuck in traffic has a mental breakdown. The premise of this film had a lot of idiots cheering for the protagonist when it came out, but the film is sophomoric and the characters are all absurd. With so much contrived nonsense, this movie just doesn't hold up to whatever it may have achieved when it released.

Good movie for kids with nice themes. There's light use of CGI that's really bad, and even though the movie is from a better time, it lacks some polish.
