X2: X-Men United looks great in 4K UHD, with noticeable boosts in detail and richer palette, especially in interiors and some color-heavy scenes. Grain is pretty prominent in places, and a couple CGI moments, including the dam stuff near the end, look softer and more artificial than you might expect. The audio stays excellent with the same DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 mix, but there is no upgraded imme...

X-Men is still a really fun watch, and this 4K UHD disc makes it look fantastic, with sharper detail and nicer color balance than the 1080p version. The DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track sounds big and immersive. The only real downside is that the 4K disc mostly just carries the commentary, so you may want the Blu-ray for the rest of the extras.

Uncut Gems on 4K UHD is a total adrenaline rush, with the nonstop pressure and tense situations that just keep stressing you out and the heart rate up. The 4K disc looks excellent, with strong clarity and depth, really steady image stability, and better color balance especially in brighter light. The Atmos track is also a win, sounding rich and clean and doing a great job with the film’s intense, ...

V for Vendetta still hits hard, and this 4K UHD makes it look noticeably sharper with better shadow detail, cleaner colors, and no distracting compression issues. The Dolby Atmos audio is a real standout, with strong separation, lots of immersive city sounds, and big impact when it counts. Overall, it feels like a polished upgrade and an easy pick for fans who want the movie at its best on disc.

Mad Max: Fury Road looks and sounds incredible on the 4K UHD disc, with a noticeable jump in sharpness and depth thanks to the HDR. The action scenes feel more vivid and layered, but a few effects like flames and the dust storm can look a bit too artificial, which is a letdown. The Atmos track is a huge highlight, wrapping the chaos around you from all directions, even compared to the standard Blu...

The Others looks absolutely stunning, with improved clarity, sharpness, and especially the shadow detail and color. The Atmos audio is also excellent, with lots of dynamic punch. The review gives the movie itself a solid mid rating, mainly because the pacing drags a bit in the middle.

The Fugitive’s 4K UHD disc looks really clean and natural, with the film grain staying intact and noticeably more fine detail and texture than the earlier Blu-ray. HDR10 adds punch in the darker scenes, deeper shadows, and better-managed contrast without turning the image into something overly bright or washed out. Colors mainly stay true to the movie’s slightly cool, earth-toned look, with a bit ...

The Princess Bride 4K UHD disc looks absolutely stunning, with excellent grain handling, sharp and filmic texture, and vibrant Dolby Vision color that really brings out the details. Faces and small textures look especially great, with deep blacks and clean, bright whites and no obvious source flaws or encoding artifacts. The audio is also a strong point, using the DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track wel...
